Executive Director, Richard Trent, will moderate a discussion on the 11th Street Bridge Park’s ability to serve as model of environmental sustainability while inspiring the next generation of river stewards. Listen to the Anacostia Watershed Society’s Chris Williams and Ariel Trahan describe the Anacostia Watershed Center, a state-of-the-art center for education and experiential learning, community engagement, study and research anchoring the east end of the park and landscape architect Hallie Boyce from OLIN describe how the park will capture stormwater for irrigation, create new bio-habitats and plant over 150 new native trees.
