Join REI and Friends of Anacostia Park for an afternoon of celebrating our outside community and spaces. Festivities will include Hand Dancing and rope jumping demonstrations plus free boat rides and haircuts for the community. Catch a screening of the short film "Anacostia Park in 5," highlighting the work and stories of the community, and hear from its leaders. Then, close out the night with a free Go-Go band concert! Activities will run from 12:00 to 7:15 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:15 p.m. RSVP recommended but not required.
