Sophie Liebel is an AmeriCorps VISTA in charge of Individual Giving and Communications for Friends of Anacostia Park. She is a recent graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont, where she majored in International Studies with a concentration in Environmental Change. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese (to an extent) and has traveled throughout Latin America. As a Rochester, New York native, Sophie is a passionate Bills fan and is excited to watch any and all professional sports games in the DMV. In her free time, Sophie enjoys making art and engaging in outdoor activities such as biking and birdwatching: two of her favorite things to do in Anacostia Park.
